I did pick up some Comply foam tips a while back. They are a big improvement in fit and sound. They isolate the IEM's from body movement sounds better too. Now I am liking my AH-C751's even more.

I ordered my X10i's with the Comply tips as I've heard they are some of the best around. I'm hoping they will be here by this weekend so I can play around with them!

My X10i's are scheduled for delivery today! The music right now on my iPhone is compressed, but it will still give me a good idea of the improvement over the stock earbuds. Once I get home from work, I'll reload the music uncompressed, and give it another comparison. Woo hoo!

My first impressions of the X10i are very speaker sounding, and very effortless sounding. When I flip through some tunes, I heard music the way I would expect it to sound, just in my head. Without being broken in, they do sound a little emotionless, but that is also with MP3s, so I'll be doing lossless testing tonight. I am also used to listening to my music through a 300B amp, so maybe it's the fact that my iPhone isn't tube powered...

Update: The Comply tips are great with IEMs and feel just like ear plugs. They seal very well and are comfortable while listening for extended periods. The foam tips come is three different sizes which is very nice, and they block out a good amount of sound allowing you to enjoy your music without having to turn up the volume to compensate for outside noise. Highly recommended!

Mine are Shure Pro-SRH240s ,and I mostly use them for my computer. When I'm on the Dozin site and streaming The Greatful Dead it brings me back to my yoot. The clarity is amazing and on a good show you can be transportedto places one has not been in a while. Now I hope you noticed I said on a
good show because lord knows they can suck . When there good there the best at what they do but when there'r bad they are Horrible.28 times is enough to know.

I own a pair of Shure Pro srh240s and I use them all the time I'm on the computer. These are old style ote and they really take HDCD listening to a new level.

I have a pair of the Monster Coppers and the Monster Miles Davis Tributes. Both sound amazing. Both sound different. Both have proven the reputation of Monster delivering inferior products untrue. Both have proven the reputation of Monster delivering expensive products true.

However, I just don't enjoy IEM's. Don't know what my problem is, but they annoy me, and are being sold. I bought a pair of over-ears instead.

For real headphone listening, I use Senn 650's running balanced through a tube headamp, with a balanced dac as source. Fantastic sound, but intrigued to know how big a step up the 800's are....
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.
