Partial Upgrade to old RM2300

Greetings.
I have searched the forums for the RM 2300 but did not find a thread related directly to my question.

I will start off by admitting I am a surround surround novice.

I currently have a Polk Audio surround system minus the receiver. Here is the break down
Harmon-Kardon Rcvr AV146: http://www.harmankardon.com/EN-US/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?PID=AVR%20146
Polk Audio RM2300 Spkrs: Front and Rear Surround
Polk Audio PSW450 Powered Sub
Polk Audio Center Channel RM2600 Center Channel

All sources are ran through the TV through HDMI or Component Connections and a Digital Audio to the Rcvr.

My Right Front Surround speaker is DONE! I cannot really afford to upgrade all the speakers so I have found a pair of Polk Audio T15's to replace the fronts.

I was wondering if there would be any issues with mismatching the speakers due to power consumption, size, frequency range, etc.

My other thought was to take the RM2300's from the rear, move them to the front, and place the T15's in the rear. I just don't know what is going to be my best option.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to Club Polk!
I'm not familiar with your specific RM system, but from what I do know about the RM stuff, I would say put the T15 as your fronts. They will likely have a fuller sound than you current fronts/rears. They are probably more efficient as well. Keep in mind, I'm making assumptions, so this is an educated guess at best:) I hope that helps though!
