Well, I havent seen any Pixar movies since my system has changed around a bit. Decided to watch Monsters inc, man was I blown away by the audio! Just finished The Incredibles as well, these movies rival any other when it comes to Pixar laying down the audio. :D

Pixar does amazing movies and all of them always sound and look great, along with having great stories!! I own all of them on SDVD except for the Toystory series, which i like just never got around to getting them.

Pixar has great "short stories" as well. I often find that an animated movie is more enjoyable than most shoot em up cuss cuss f this and f that movie. At least pixar uses other words than F F f f fffffffff F***

Pixar's best movies for audio are the ones mixed by Gary Rydstrom (Monsters Inc., A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, Toy Story 1 & 2). Not to take away from Randy Thom and Ben Burtt's excellent work since then, but I kinda' hate that Rydstrom left Skywalker Sound to go write/direct for Pixar. The guy did some of the best audio mixes I've ever heard, including Minority Report, The Haunting, Saving Private Ryan, Strange Days, Jurassic Park, Backdraft, Terminator 2, etc. Can't wait for Finding Nemo, Minority Report and Saving Private Ryan to hit Blu-ray!

My daughter got Toy Story for her 2 year old after getting Woody and Buzz dolls. ( when she has pigtails, she looks like the little girl in Monsters.inc) Just like her mom, babygirl likes to watch over & over, memorizing lines.

They're eating breakfast a few days ago and she points to her dad ( who is best described as a BIG old boy) and says in a 2-year old Woody voice, "YOU ARE A TOY!"

    hilarious.
