I just last night soldered the new Cardas CCRR binding posts onto my Aragon 8008bb amp. I tested it out with Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" CD. It sounds great!
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

An excellent upgrade and who wouldn't like a meaty set of binding posts?CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Great job. I have the same on my 1.2TLs. The only thing I didn't like about them is that they don't have any black or red markings on them. Jesse put red & black pin striping on the appropriate posts.

I know what you mean. The bad part is, places charge $3.38 a piece for the red and black insulators. Kind of rediculous.

Nice!!!!
These are what came with the Pass Aleph 30 when I bought it. Very, very beefy and I too wish they were color coded.

I have had an 8008BB since 1999 and have always hated the binding posts. How involved was changing them out? Do you have any instructions you followed? Where did you get the new binding posts to install?
Thanks, -
I just saw you are selling WHY would you do that?

The level of difiiculty depends on what posts you choose, and how the originals are mounted. Some posts are just a drop-in replacement for the originals, and others may need some degree of modification, whether to the mounting holes or insulators before they will fit. Be sure to check that there is no shorting of the posts to the chassis with a multimeter before you connect the internal wires to the posts and energize the amp.
There are a number of retailers that carry various binding posts, Dedicated Audio, VH Audio, Parts Express, Parts Connexion, Allied Electronics, to name a few. I am partial to WBT Topline and Midline posts when I need the best, and Pomona or Abbatron brand posts when I need modest priced connectors.
Following is a link to a nice thread at AK forums on binding post upgrades. I've posted a few of my own upgrades in the thread. You may need to register to be able to see pictures.

Thanks,
Sent you a PM answering all your questions sir except about where to buy the CCRR binding posts. You can get them from Sonic Craft, here: www.soniccraft.com
Or, you can get them from the place I linked above called Handmade Electronics here: https://www.hndme.com/
