Jesse, How Do You Feel About Michael Schumacher Jumping On Board With Mercedes Benz ?

I'm Really Glad That He Is Back In The Sport, But It Almost Seems Like Sacrilage To Me With Him Not Being With Ferrari. Especially Considering How Strong The Relationship Is Between The Two Parties.

Just Curious.

I don't follow F1 closely, but didn't Schumacher retire? Is he back?

    edit: never mind.

Well he was retired and mainly doing testing for Ferrari's "road cars", but somehow the spark for racing again has entered his life.

I suspect that he'll back with a vengeance.

Shumi was suppose to fill in for Massa when he was injuried. Crazy injury. A spring for the Brawn car hit him in the helmet. Since Ferrari already has there drivers locked they asked the FIA if they could have a 3rd Ferrari race. That got quickly shot down. Since he was already slated to fill in for the Ferrari of Massa I'm sure it got his driving juices back. He didn't fill in due to a motocycle accident.

The move to Benz and his old boss Brawn seems to fit well.

It is good for the sport IMO.

It was discussed to the greatest detail on all racing or car related forums. Schumacher is German after all. What's wrong with him going to Mercedes, which is a German manufacturer?

It is all about what Viper said. I disliked him and Ferrari, But Michael and Ross Brawn are "The Package" as Michael would say back when he was with Ferrari.

    Should be an interesting season.
