Sanus 30" Stand & FXi A6 &/or A4???

Does anyone know if a Sanus 30" Speaker stand will support comfortably FXi A6 or a FXi A4??? The top plate of the Sanus is 6"X6". I do know the FXi A6 & A4 are bigger than that, but will the Sanus be sufficiently stable?????? I have ordered the A4's from Polk Direct and will eventually get a pair of A6's as well. Just haven't received them yet. Thanks!

    I have 8# bookshelf speakers on 30" Sanus stands. The speakers have a 8x10" footprint and the stand is on carpet. I used the spikes and it's fine. YMMV.

    Be aware that the posts are particle board so tighten the screws carefully. I split one of mine but Sanus sent me a free replacement.

    Yes, fine.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I just ordered a pair of Sanus 30" Steel Foundations SF30 Speaker stands. I haven't received the FXi A4 speakers that I ordered from Polk Direct yet. I just was wondering if the A4's have a port on the bottom of the speaker??? Does anyone know? If it does how would that effect the sound if the speaker is sitting on a stand? The sanus stands do come with brass isolation studs and neoprene pads so the speaker could sit on either. If using the studs the speaker would be raised a little bit above the top plate. My plan is to use the A4 speakers as my side surrounds and continue to use the RM 8's for the rear surrounds and then in the next few months get a pair of FXi A6's and use them as the side surrounds and move the A4's to the rear surrounds. At least that is what the plan is. Thanks for all your help!

    Kevin, keep us updated. I"m interested in the FXi A4 and am looking for the right floor stands. One option i have on the list is the Sanus 30 stands you mention. Let me know how the FXi A4 sit on them and how secure it feels.
