    I, for one, am tired of everyone drooling over products that will never see production. Sort of like auto shows... lots of concepts, little substance.

    I guess people really are feeling too poor still to contemplate new gadgets as early adopters of new (and therefore very expensive, usually) technology...

    I expected to see some echoes from CES here too.

    Most people seem to keep talking about all the 3D stuff, which I'm still very skeptical about.

    I think the Apple tablet, 3d tv's and the new google phone are the 3 biggest topics right now.

    I'd be shocked if the Apple tablet comes out even near what they're saying for a price (around 1k I think?)

    and all fairly pricey items to boot. Maybe they missed the memo about a down economy, people getting foreclosed on, loss of jobs. Maybe it's just me, I dunno.
