Downloaded couple weeks ago on my PC and much better eye candy than the last one and easier to nav around. Gotta get around to updating Xbox to it.

Took it for a whirl on the PC, haven't switched the xbox over. Scrapers definitely working better in the new version.

Probably going to go with Boxee on the PC since they seem to be trying harder to keep connected to Hulu.

Mkv support? How's it handling large movie directories? That was my problem with it in the past. I pointed xbmc to my 500+ movie folder and it passed out. I'm still on Media Browser.

My buddy has at least a TB of movies and his works fine.

Not sure your exact issues. I only have 50 or so gigs as i rotate my movies in and out and im good. On the other hand about 500 Gigs of music and keeps up just fine....

It'll work with MKV as long as the platform can keep up with it (ie, xbox classic, not so much).

Haven't had this issue. Maybe you should categorize into subfolders. You know, blondes, brunettes, etc.

Too difficult with movies where the heroines change their hair color 3 times.

Back then? XP backend and XP front end. Never got around to modding the xbox.

I'm not dissing the XBMC. I thought it was the least headache prone configuration for streaming vob's from the backend but it hesitated with large movie folders. Heck, even the MCE 2005 hesitated which was why I started looking for an alternative which lead to MediaPortal, Meedios, MyMovies, and finally MediaBrowser.

    XBMC 10 (Dharma) just dropped.

Ive been on the nightlies and the most recent RC's.

Its pretty slick with the add-ons and Hardware acceleration support. vs the old 9.11 Camelot.

    Check it
