Win the lottery? Try these with the darTZeel equipment; they finally just released their mono block amps.

when it comes to music play back I think if you blow say 30k on a set of speakers and then compare them to say a 100k or even 200k your going to run into the law of diminishing returns.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diminishing_returns

aka you getting a smaller and smaller delta in performance per $ spent.

If i had to guess I would say that at the 30k or so per speaker mark your money is not going to do you much better unless your after a work of art rather then a good preforming speaker.

Don't waste your money on 100k+ speakers. The % gain in preformance is way to small vs money spent.

I've been fantasizing about MBL gear and their speakers for quite awhile. However, one of our own here who's ears I trust heard an MBL setup at an audio store and said he was very disappointed. I still want to hear them.

I heard them in Seoul.....again, we are talking about 45 mins....but I wouldn't pay it for them. It honestly reminded me, sort of, listening to Bose 901's. The sound was much better, but the image was pretty diffused, sound radiating from everywhere. The tone was fantastic but, I dunno, I just wasn't that blown away.

Now....if someone wanted to GIVE me a pair...that's one thing...

You're the second one I've heard this from Troy. I wonder if they just weren't set-up correctly?

    "any feedback on this speakers"

If you have feedback on the speakers, and a mic hooked up somewhere.. that might be the issue. Otherwise, have you looked into isolation of the turntable?

I thought it was funny anyway LOL
