Anyone have any idea if the Monitor 70's will go back to $159.99 like before Christmas? Wish I would have bought them then.

Yeah, it is an awesome deal, but in reality I don't know how much longer Newegg can keep doing it. I went to their site last night and they are currently out of stock on the 70's in black, but still had the cherry ones. Maybe you'll get lucky, keep checking or sign up for an account and have them auto notify you when they come back in stock.

Edit: Just checked Newegg, still out of stock on the black 70's but they have the cherry in stock, both are currently listed at $199 ea.

Worth it even at 199 IMO!

Hey Jeff do you own the black finish or the cherry...just curious...I have black myself!

The TSI-500s I saw in China with real wood veneers were something else...the wood gave them a higher end look?

Most def. $199 is still a steal for what you get. I have the black as well, cherry would have been overkill for my living room with a cherry finish entertainment stand, cherry coffe table, and cherry end table.

Happy New Year CNH...since we spoke I finally got my XBR4 for the basement...Holding out for the A6 in "10, along with the media table. Discovering that my Onkyo 606 is giving preliminary power to the M70's wondering if you can breakdown the whole pre-amp lingo to me. Should I get an separate pre-amp to power the m70's? By the way, the M70's finally are sounding good at the low end.
