Hello! My name is Dave and I live in Oldsmar, FL. Just joined the forum and thought I'd take a second to introduce myself. I was 'invited' by our new
A7s, CSi Center and FXi A6 surrounds - they promised it would be a great time! :)

Let me start by saying we purchased our speakers thru Polk Direct and it has been a good experience so far (the FXi A6s are still in transit) starting with a great price - and bonus sub - and with an as-promised delivery date. The boxes were in excellent condition upon arrival with truly beautiful (A7s in cherry) stuff inside.

These aren't our first Polk towers, several years ago I brought home the same speaker in black, these were our daughter's Christmas gift this year. Needless to say, when it was time to change the room selecting the A7s was an easy choice.

I'm looking forward the learning offered here and to the self-discipline I must develop to keep the checkbook in the drawer when reading about all the good stuff you all have out there.

    Pauly - Didn't buy any speakers from CL but had my old ones listed for a few days
    before my daughter put them on her Christmas list

    That was my first listing on CL and while I did get a few responses, they came slowly. Guessing folks were waiting 'till after Christmas. By that time they were already promised.

    I have an extra PWS111 (one from the tower order and another from the surrounds) that I may list if I can't find a use for it here. I was really surprised how much I like the 111. More of a music guy, it works for me. May replace the Boston Aoustics in the bedroom ... either way, I'll likely try CL again.

    I picked up a pair on the Orlando CL, I've since discovered that they were Monitor 5 Series 2's.
