SDA 2B -- Monitor 10s

I know what I am going to propose is anathema and I won't be able to do it till I get back to the U.S. in any case.
But, I live in a really old house. There is no one room in it other than my HT room which is already occupied where I could set up SDA 2Bs with the SDA interconnect and get the SDA effect--SDAs are great speakers but require TOO MUCH BREATHING ROOM...I just don't have the length.
So I was wondering, if one upgraded to the RDO-194s and ran them as a regular stereo speaker much like the Monitor 10s...would they sound pretty much like a slightly larger version of the 10s? In other words how good are SDAs without the EFFECT?
Just curious...otherwise I'm going to have to knock down some walls?

The whole NEED to have room for SDA's is mostly ****. Sure, they shine in an perfect enviroment but who has that these days? Just go for it. I ran Magnepan 3.6 in a 15x20 room and didn't cry myself to sleep every night or slit my wrists asking why.
Big loudspeakers work fine, just move your chair back.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
