I just recently got into Polk speakers.
I'm a retired electronic technician and musician.
I've always been a "JBL Guy"
So i bought some Monitor 7's and loved them.
So I bought some SDA 2a's and I love them.
No I see some Monitor 10's for cheap.
Should I scarf them up or get real and take a break from new speakers for a while?

How many can you listen to at one time?
I'd skip the 10's since you have the 2a's which are nicer sounding speakers. Maybe you should do some upgrades to the 2a's if you have not already done so.
What equipment are you running? -
I have a living room, a music studio and a basement workshop.
So 3.
McIntosh C26 and 2100
just a Sony CD player. -
What are you using in the music studio? As much as I love my Polks, I would never consider using them as studio monitors.-Kevin

The music studio has JBL L100's.
It's more of a rehearsal room than a recording studio. -
Ahh.. the venerable 3-way JBL. That makes sense.
I have a pair of 4412's. They need much TLC and a re-foam of the woofers so they are dormant.-Kevin

Vc69 after looking at the frequency response of the monitor 10 I don't see why you would hesitate to use them for studio monitors.
What a want in a monitor is accuracy, ie. flat frequency response within know boundaries.
The JBL's roll off at about low A on a bass guitar, I can deal with that as long as I know the roll off.
Thanks for your response. -
Monitor 10s are good, especially the earlier ones that use the Peerless tweeter!;)
