In-Ceiling to Complete 7.1
So now that i have figured out what speakers i want to go with for my 5.1 speaker set up, i need help trying to figure out what 2 speakers (in celing) would be compatible to complete my 7.1 set up.
I will be using the following system:
Mains- Tsi500
Rears- Tsi200
Center- CS20
Sub- DSW600
Receiver- Pioneer VSX-9040TXH
I just need Polk Direct Ebay to put some more Tsi500's on their site so i can get moving on my system. I tested the system today at Fry's (with the exception i could only test the Tsi100's and not the 200's but i know i will love the set up. I have already bought the entertainment center (had to make a trade for the wife-she gets the entertainment center and i get the surround....definitely worth it to me).
The question i have is regarding the rear surrounds (which i would run in ceiling (definitely change the "pre-wire" that is already in my house). I was looking at Crutchfield and they have Polk RC80i's for $135/pair. Does anyone know if these speakers would be compatible sounding with my setup? The Tci in ceilings are $250/each (def out of my budget), SHould i just be happy with my system for now and save for the Tci series or should i just go ahead and make the move on the RC's?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

How close will the rear surrounds be to your listening position? Because if they're too close, they're going to image above you instead of behind you, which kind of defeats the purpose. In-ceiling speakers only really work for rear surrounds when you can put them several feet behind the listening position and angle the tweeters forward toward the opposite surround (i.e. left rear surround aimed toward right side surround, and vice-versa). Honestly, if you can't put the in-ceilings at least 3 feet behind you, you may be better off sticking with 5.1 with the side surrounds at 110 degrees from your main seating, aimed slightly forward.Equipment list:
Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR
Emotiva XPA-3 amp
Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights
SVS 20-39CS+ subwoofer powered by Crown XLS1500
Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray player
DarbeeVision DVP5000 video processor
Epson 8500UB 1080p projector

The way my room is set up, dual reclining couch against a wall (facing directly infront of the tv-12 ft away), and a 3-person couch runing perpendicular to this recling couch. opposite of long couch i have a rcliner chair that kind of site at a 45 degree angle to reclining couch. i would put the Tsi200's between the reclining charir and couch and the reclicing couch and long couch, angled towards the center of room (unless otherwise recommended). The current prewire desin of the house is with the speaker basically directly above the proposed tsi200 locations (about 9 ft above).
