We all have them. Someone that we look up to and admire the most. Doesn't have to be a family member. It could be a celebrity or a president or a sports star or a general in the army or a religious figure. We all have someone we look up to and view as a person better than ourselves that we strive to model our lives after.

So who's your hero?

Me? Well I got a bunch of stuff going on this morning and I wanted to get this posted before I forgot so I'll have to give my answer later when I have more time.

    Ronald Reagan and Harold Bixby...

The first is obvious, the latter was a friend of mine the helped get the first Americans into space and eventually to the Moon. He was a key designer of egress and recovery(parachutes and the protechnics that deployed them) aparatus for Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo.

My neighbor he moved in about 10 years ago. At that time I was 11 and just sort of wondered over there and never went home as they joke. Anyway I would go over and still go over just about every weekend and hang out and talk. I learned a ton from him from ohms to electronics and how they operate. He is a very cool laid back guy. When I was younger he would explain things to me but it was not until I did a audio install for him did he realize that I did not just ask this stuff and not pay attention to the answered. I did listen and did learn. He told me I am like the son he never had as he was not with his as his grew up. Both him and his wife are very cool and I admire how they open up there home to me and how friendly they are.

Really? What were you wondering about?

I believe you intended to use the word wandered because no definition of the word wondered fits the context of your statement.

    Why am I anybody's hero?

If I'm your hero, you need to get out more or find a hobby or something. 'Cause that's sad.

My dad. I've never seena man give up so much for his family in my entire life. We never had much money, but I'd never have known it.

He went into the AF in 68, and ended up serving 22 years, including 2 SE Asia tours, so I respect that as well.

What I respect the most though is who he is as a person. He's the kind of guy that spent hours a couple of years ago in the local wal mart parking lot working on some guy he'd never met before's car, b/c the guy was broke and down on his luck. Dad did it because it was right, even if it meant him literally working in the freezing cold on some stranger's car for free. He does things because they are what is right and what should be done. He is the definition of a man, and my hero.

I have a sense of humor. It just usually involves the pain/misfortune/demise of others. Like when some stupid kid on a skateboard falls of a rail and lands on his jibbly bits. THAT'S comedy!

Except zombie boy 2000, he makes me laugh.

And doro. He makes me want to swing puppies by their feet wildly at baby harp seals and shake my fist menacingly at lollipops stolen from babies.

See? I'm a ray of freakin' sunshine in your miserable existence! But I still don't see how that makes me a hero.

First, you should take some spelling lessons. Or English lessons. Or maybe just use a freaking spell checker.

Second, you should go find some traffic to play in.

No to the first just because it irritates you:p, and to your second point, I would rather listen to my music and enjoy your inept potshots at me...now THOSE are funny!:D

Inept? Wha? If I was actually intending to take potshots, which are usually random, incidental and unprovoked, I could understand. But since I don't take potshots at you your statement doesn't make any sense. But you seem to think my world revolves around you, and you take offense to any word I say with the intention of provoking me whether my words had anything to do with you or not. You send me PM's asking me to be your buddy. You even send me PM's with your phone number in them begging me to call you! Why? I dunno. I guess you think you can win me over? I already told you that's not going to happen and your arrogance about it just fuels my disdain for you. I should have saved that one and dumped it on every "free" spammer and junk-mailer I could find. Needless to say, I don't think that word means what you really think it means.

I did send you my number, but said nothing about wanting to be your buddy. I only assumed that by actually talking that perhaps some of the bs that goes back and forth could be addressed and that would be that. To me, it is called taking an adult approach to solving a disagreement. I have no issue with you personally as we have never met or spoken before. This is just the internet and words typed here are just that... words. If you choose to be a keyboard commando without a sense of humor and choose to take everything said here seriously , that ones on you. I tried the nice way and now the ignore button will come in handy.

I have been an adult about it. I told you I don't like you and to leave me the hell alone. But like some crybaby desperate for attention of any kind, you still have a need to single me out. I'm not the only one who doesn't like you. But to spare them of the crap I have to deal with from you I'll refrain from dropping names.

So, I will again tell you to leave me alone. Keep your distance from me because I don't go out of my way to get on your case. So stop dumping on this thread, douchenozzle and take your BS to PM where I can more effectively ignore you. nobody, including me, wants to deal with your crap.
