I'm pretty sure my deal with you Doctor Cilantro was if they, the FREE Christmas LSi7/Subwoofer Combo, needed to be resold that they would be resold to Polkies....not on the local Florida Craigslist. I guess we based our word and honor on a different plane of existence.

What a dick move. There's people here who would have put those speakers to good use or at the very least would have had the common sense to give them away again to fellow Polkies if they weren't needed. I guess when you win something you can ultimately do whatever you want. Just don't be surprised about where you're told to go when you try and pawn the rest of your **** off here.

I'm a big boy and offered the LSi7 karma but Polk went out of there way twice, if not more, to get the subwoofer situation cleared up. Ken Jasper of THE Polk CS crew expedited the shipment of the amplifier based on my personal request, thanks for making me look like an ****. Hedy Klopfer, my personal friend, happened to notice the new subwoofer stack with another cool Polk employee, and said, HEY!...why don't we just send one of the new ones since its Christmas? Thanks for making me and my favorite Polk girl look stupid.

I apologize if I offended anyone. I did not know it was a caveat of the contest; I will have to check the thread. If I was just supposed to assume this, then I err'd there as well. My wife is not working, and we are about to have a baby. I have always been honest with people on this forum. I'm sorry if you now think I have no integrity. I am extremely displeased that this place has been tarnished but what many perceive to be a poor decision. However, I would like to say that my thinking was that if this sale helped me stay afloat for another year, maybe I could be in a position to "pass it on", as I did a little bit this year myself (giving away a pair of NOS Telefunkens 12AX7s) after winning the Xmas Karma.

Mark, pick someone else, and tell me where to mail them. The only catch is I will have to split shipping costs with recipient.

Zitro, a junior member I happened to notice in the Clubhouse asking questions about turntables, lives in Orlando he has been informed by me that if he can drive over, he can take the speakers home with him. I hope this is acceptable resolution for everyone as it turns out he has been looking for some quality bookshelves, is a student, and has little funds to pursue some.

If $900.00 is going to make up the difference of whether you stay afloat for another year or not you really are hurting, thats roughly $80.00 a month or so.

Actually I dont understand your finances maybe things really are very tough for you where your at, but having been here for over a year it should be very clear to you what the expectations of what most people are regarding karma's I am glad that your doing the right thing and re gifting these to someone that can actually use them which is certainly more than what some people would do, but there is a reason why you didnt post them for sale here and that IMHO is that you knew that you would catch hell for it and the only reason you are doing what you are doing now is because you dont want to look any worse than you allready do.

Maybe what I have said sounds harsh and accusatory but the fact that most of your posting on this forum has been regarding selling something coupled with your attempt to sell this wonderful Karma that Mark and Polk Audio put together leaves me no other choice but to feel the way I do. It was a Christmas Karma also which leaves a particulary bad taste in my mouth.

I have gifted things in the past to people which they have re sold because they fell on hard times and they had no real choice but to do otherwise, I have no hard feelings about this at all, one case in particular stands out in my mind the fellow received the item enjoyed it for more than a year IIRC then put it up for sale here with an explanation as to why he was doing so. The difference between what happened in his case and this one was that he actually had an use for the item intially and used it and when he was forced to re sell it didnt attempt to hide that he was doing so. He didnt get it soley for the purpose of resale which is what this looks like what happened in this case.

A lot of times you will see people posting Karmas with stipulations of minimum post counts and or date joined, it is because they want their items to go to someone who is a part of this community and who wont simply take just for gain.

It is odd though at times how Karma can bite you in the **** as the saying goes.

Good Karma comes from Good Karma, make sense? contact should have been made with Dorokusai to eather be sent back to him or a new name to be picked. The only reason they were not posted for sale here is to hide the fact you wanted to sell them, and there is no doubt you knew it would come to this.

I will at least do this you get them sent back to Doro or New winner and I will cover half the shipping cost. the only thing I ask is a copy of what it cost to ship them.
