Since getting into tubes my Adcom GFP-750 is collecting dust so it is up for sale. Someone here was interested but after cleaning out my messages I lost their PM. If you see this shoot me a PM, I will remember.

Camera is acting up so I will post pics later.

Very clean and can find no scratches or dents. I have the factory box, manual, shorting pins, power cable and remote with protective cover still on the remote. I was not sure if the shorting pins came with so I bought Cardas shorting pins waiting for the Adcom to arrive. I will include the cardas in the sale.

I am the second owner and it has the blue boards.

$650 plus shipping and PP fees if used.

If no interest here by mid-week off to ebay or audiogon.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Mine has the blue boards as well, can you tell me what is the big deal with the blue boards? I have been woundering about this for sometime now.

Thanks, and good luck with the sale with your asking price I am sure it won't last long.

Great pre here guys. Mine is in the box too since getting tubes. I'm not selling mine at this time though, because it's such a nice sounding unit. I'm not sure I can part with it yet. This is a killer SS piece!!!

Blue boards are a bit of "myth" if you ask me. These were assembled in the USA vs. later pieces assembled in China or Taiwan.......or some such. Not sure there is a difference in sound or build, but the "blue board" seems to be more coveted.

Good luck with the sale..........hope you don't regret it a little bit.

That's the only Adcom pre-amp I'd even think about owning aside from a vintage SLC-505. The fact that it's remote controlled is even better.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Anticipating a sell I thought I better move the Adcom and the Carver back in the rack, its been a few months since they have had power.

I really miss the HT bypass and remote. Hopefully a Black Anthem Pre 2l is in my future.

Then the Pre 1 will be up next.

Just out of curiosity (and for a bump for nice Adcom products), what does the "reverse" function do?

    Thanks.

Thank goodness this sold. I've been convincing myself I didn't need it ever since you put it up for sale. If I come home with any more of you hand-me-downs my wife will kill me.

Someone needs to grab the amp, though. I can attest to the fact that it's in great shape.
