I threw out the minimum $98 bid not thinking I would win. Guess its my lucky day. :) I hope I'm not missing anything.

They look like they are in at least decent shape and the seller claims they work. Hopefully the 3 hour drive to get them doesn't disappoint. As long as all of the drivers work, I'll be a happy camper.

Congrats on a steal of a deal. You are not having them shipped correct? You will be surprised what the "little" SDA's can do. Also mods are cheaper;)

It would be very hard to go wrong with those at $98, especially picking them up with no shipping. I would never advocate parting out a vintage Polk SDA, but would make the point that the crossovers/passives/tweeters and drivers would bring about $300 (or more) separately.

Those 11's would make a great rear speaker if you are running a dual purpose 2 channel/HT rig. Just an idea. I used some RTA15's for my rears.

Hope you have a spare cable sitting around. Seller says the cable is not with them. They will still be sweet speakers without the cable but they will lack the "SDA effect". If you don't have a cable, someone on here might be willing to part with a spare they have.

That's right, it shows the SDA effect as a series of cancelled and focused soundwaves coming from two speakers. As you flex your muscle(s) you can even see the waves undulate!

    Congrats--sweet deal.

So the 3 hour drive turned into a 6 hour drive? Zoinks!
So much for no shipping cost--just curious--how much did it cost in gas round trip?

Well, I have had these hooked up to for over a week now and I am very pleased. I was able to open them up today (the wife and kids were out of the house :) ), and boy can they sing. They are almost on par with my previous 3.1tls. Not quite the same low end impact, but still very pleasing. Maybe the best $100 I have ever spent. :D
