SInce getting into tubes 2-3 months ago my Carver TFM-45 has been collecting dust. I was going to keep it but I maybe moving up the tube chain and need to sell this amp.

In July 09 I sent it to Rolland for a full service. There was nothing wrong with it just wanted piece of mind.

As you can see in the pics below of the service order a full service along with negative feedback mod and IEC connector.

Will come with factory manual and a power cord.

Specs have been provided in the pics below.

I will not rate the amp as everyone's method is different. but I can find no scratches or dents. If you want different pics than what I have posted shoot me a PM.

SOmeone here does have first dibbs but I deleted the PM while needing to make space so if they would send me a PM I am sure I will remmeber. If I have not heard from them by Wednesday then first come first serve.

Shipping will be Fedex, double boxed and insured. Local pick up is preferred.
Will weigh about 32lbs shipped from 75074. Shipping will cost you what it cost me. I will scan the receipt. Shipping to be paid after shipped.

$625 firm plus PP if used and shipping.

    Thanks dekuda.

The one thing I should have mentioned is I would consider a trade for an Anthem in black Pre 2l depending on shape and condition. Would mostly require additional cash or some really nice 6922 tubes with the pre.

Person who was interested is cashed out since the holidays so amp is up for grabs.

TFM-45s usually sell from $400 to $500 and will need servicing at some point. This amp is in great shape and was recently fully serviced and upgraded.

WHen you consider the service work and the price of this amp I think it is a great deal.

IF no interest here by mid-week I will try ebay.

Just as a note...a TFM 55 just went over the weekend for $700 that was serviced by Rita and another one is out there right now for a BIN of $775 and starting bid of $700. These are great amps and if they have been recently serviced worth the money. If kept in good home they will last you 20 or so years.

BTW Rita just raised her service fee to $350. So a TFM 45 off of ebay for $400 will be $750 plus all the shipping.

If it helps, I did talk to Rolland at Hi-Tech and he will warrenty the work he performed in July 09. Obviously he can not warrenty anything like miss-use or shipping damage.

Anyway, well cared for amp for a very reasonable price IMHO.

Since the 45 has been out of the rack for a couple of months I figured I better double check that all is well.

And it is ! This is a powerful clean, updated and cool running AMP.

Goes to Ebay or Audiogon Wednesday evening.

The TFM-45 is a fantastic amp and at the price being offered here should be considered a great value with all the work done. The seller is a stand-up guy to boot! If you have been wanting to try separate amplification in your rig, this is a great way to start.:)

Was curious what upgrades did you have done to this amp?
Thanks in advance for your reply thsmith. :)

Negative feedback modification and IEC connector so you can use whichever power cable you choose.

Look at the picture above that shows service receipt.

I have delayed putting on ebay until weekend. If it does not meet my minimum price which is $600 I will put it away.

I paid $500 for this amp in 2009 and spent over $400 having it serviced and upgraded. Again the amp was working great when I had it serviced just wanted piece of mind by having it serviced.

I feel $600 is a bargain and will hang on to it rather than give it away.

I have a tfm 42 about to **** the bed (starting to buzz). If your not interested, can you list who to call for the service so I can get that ball rolling? thanks
