Good for you Jim! Enjoy the cables.
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I finally got around to terminating the cables tonight and putting them in the 2 channel rig. They definitely sound different than the IXOS cables I typically use. Much more subtle on the high end, forward in the midrange, and the bass is not as strong. It's like someone flipped an eq curve upside down. I won't say it sounds bad, as I like the midrange. The high end is crisp and I'm hearing things I haven't heard before. The bass is still there, but maybe a little tighter and more refined. I'll give a few days and see how it plays out.
Dave, any guestimate on how many hours these have on them? -
No idea really.
They guy I had gotten them from bought them new some years ago, so I would assume they have burned in at this point.
