I am tempted to check these out. I am looking for 10s..... but this is very tempting. Has anyone had any experience with 2A's?

They could also be 2A second edition..I once had a pair of 2A's that had one tweeter per cab that looked just like the ones in the link.2 Channel:
Amp/Parasound Halo A23
Pre/Carver C-1
Tuner/Carver TX-11a
CDP/Jolida JD 100A
Turntable/AR XB-Shure V15 III -
The pics are of 2A's. Even though he states pulling them off the net.
Either way they are a fair deal, you should hop on them.

Well, I saw these on line before I saw them here and I did wait. But $160 later I shoe horned them into my trunk. Should be fun to listen with while my back recovers from trying to get them out.

Nice grab; looks like thay are the nicer 2B's version with wood caps._________________________________________________

Do these pix help to determine which model or what should I show? Also, looks like I have some work. One mid driver is stuck. Major repair or moderate fix? I know they are not minty, but the good part is I listen with mt ears.
Thanks in advance for information. -

Sweet! Thanks for the clarification Poee7R. These are/were the ones actually being sold from the listing. Guess he should have borrowed different pictures from the net to describe the speakers...

Pop it out and give us a model number.
Should read MW6503, or MW6511... If 6503, easy money, very common replacement. MW6511 might be a bit trickier. First step is to find out the model number of the frozen driver. It WILL need to be replaced. Aside from being nearly impossible, the time and effort required to realign the polk vintage magnets = pain in the A$$. -
Must be my lucky week. MW 6503. I thought it was interesting that it was stamped with 2 different months. I will begin my driver search. Thanks.

Do you have a link to the repair process by chance? I'm willing to give it a try - I'm down 2 drivers now because of failed magnet glue.
Reinforcing all of my vintage drivers is my next Preventive Maintenance project.____________________
