Apocolypse Now "Redux cd"

I was going to trade a set of Hartley 200's for a set of Klipsch KG4's but the guy changed his mind. A year ago, I must have used a cheap receiver to test these speakers with and thought the sound was lacking alot.
Man was I wrong! I went to retest em and was completely blow away by their imaging. And they were upside down too.( their connectors are on the bottom and they're heavy and I was just testing them)
Tonight I righted them and toed them in alittle and I was using an Nad c370 int. amp and a denon 3800 dvd/cd player. I listened to a few more cds and then Sade's best of cd again and that one WOWed me again.
Then I was looking for something else and stumbled on the Apocalypse Now Redux soundtrack cd. This is the end(DOORS) sounded pretty darn awsome. Jim Morrison sounded like he was 10' away from me, LIVE. Then the next song came on and my jaw dropped. The soundfield that came out of these Hartleys is a phenomenon of the fourth dimension. I hope somebody else has this cd to evaluate my sanity concerning these speakers and soundtrack playback audition.
I'm keeping these SWEET speakers for life!
I'll get a name of the song tomorrow but I can't wait to hear it on my SRS2's.

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

The name is "The Delta" and on the SRS2's I experienced a different image. Not as profound but nice just the same.I listened to the rest of the disk and thought OK.not bad... well it is a HDCD. I noticed when my SRS2s cd players HDCD light came on. I think the Denon 3800 is HDCD capable too. Oh well.
The SRS2's system passed a high resolution test CD and the Hartleys system did not.. The Sunfire amp might have something to do about passing the test also.;)
By the way the man interested in trading for the hartleys emailed me and we came to an agreement that we'll just go about our own business unless one or the other heads to the others' city. Then a trade might arise. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
