Monitor 40 or RTi6?

Looking at these two, either new leftovers or refurbished from the Polk store on Ebay. Similar specs. I have a sub so the bass response of either should be fine. Use will be mostly TV/movies with maybe 10% music (although that could increase if I really like them :D )

Your thoughts? (Don't have room for towers so don't even suggest them :( )

The RTI's are typically a better HT speaker. I have the A3's which are the newer model of the 6's. I like them quite a bit, but all the book shelfs really need a sub for HT. I would look at getting a center channel as well. Depending on your budget take a look at the RTiA3's on polk direct as well.
    Front - RTiA5's
    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4
    Sub - PSW110

Yes, the plan is to get the center channel from the same series. Don't see the RTiA series on Polk Direct much. Too new I guess.

For movies go with the Rtis...a good bookshelf for that.
