I made a deposit at my local branch of BoA today, and the teller accidentally moved the decimal point one place. She handed me a deposit receipt for well over a million dollars. For two or three seconds, my portfolio was looking GOOOOOD. I thought about it for literally a nanosecond. She's cute, but not much chance they'll throw us in the same cell, so I called it off right there.

Wait, she moved the decimal point one place and it was well over a million? So you were depositing well over 100,000 dollars?

Things must be going well in teh Grand household this holiday season.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Tellers do that a lot, but then again look at how much they are trained typically. Normally only have maybe a week or so of training and are the entry level jobs so its bound to happen.

is nice when they do that though but processing/proofing will catch it in a second if the teller didn't, as well as she would be off a ton in her drawer which is always a great time to deal with....

so glad I don't work in banking office woohoo

and the customer isn't always wrong, but are often misinformed about how and when things happen, and what can be done about it.....

I had an extra 100k show up in my checking account one day I have no idea how it got there and I figured it would just be gone pretty quickly so I said nothing and 2 days later it was still there and I started to think maybe it isnt going anywhere so I went to sleep with dreams of Krell amps and Wilson speakers dancing in my head, well on the 3rd day poof it was gone :p

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

I would acutally have to say the biggest one I had ever seen was acutally for around 2 million but it was acutally where someone was getting a wire and the person who sent it gave the wrong account number and information so it went into someone elses account rather than this business'. needless to say some people were very very unhappy.
