Here is a JBL that has seen better days that a fellow is attempting to sell as an orphan on Ebay, It is so bad it's actually funny. I have passed up better looking speakers than this at the dump. :p

REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

I cannot believe someone would keep this nice looking "thing" around his or her house. Goodwill probably refuses this donation.

Wow, ebay has seen better days just as that speaker has. I have smashed better looking speakers (NOT POLKS) than this on the cement. No, seriously.:D

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

unbelievable. i bought a pair of rt35i's that looked pretty rough. i took a chance and when i got them, i found that the cabinet wasnt sealed AND the mid woofer was frozen in place. the funny thing is that the screws and the tweeter of the speaker in question were both rusted, which i thought was odd.

now the seller doesnt want to give me any refund, i paid a fairly high price 100 shipped for both of them... i offered to accept 40 as a refund since one worked but he declined..

so sometimes you really have to be careful on the old ebay.. sometimes you find great stuff too though.. so i guess it balances out...

he just got some more negative feedback for selling an xbox that was busted as well...

now the funny thing is he used the same phrase. "works great" when he described the broken xbox as well as the busted speakers he sold to me...
