Difference Between SDA's How Do You Tell??

Okay I have seen many photo's of SDA's recently as I am looking for a good pair.

I have seen photo's of the backs SDA 1 & SDA 2's.

They all have either SDA 1 or SDA 2 on the back not SDA 1A or SDA 2B for example.

Is there any way to tell the difference between them as some people selling them may not even know the difference like me?

Here's an example of what I am talking about:

    Look like SDA 1B's

The model lineage is SDA 1, SDA 1A, SDA 1B, SDA 1C. Polk had some model years overlap so late production SDA 1A's could actually look and have the parts of an SDA 1B.

1B's are better than 1's or 1A's of the SDA 1 line with 1C's being the best of the SDA 1 line.

How much for the one's you're looking at?

If you went to that link you would see that they're 1B's.

I think $439.95 is a bit high for these at their condition.

Pristine 1C studios have gone recently between $400 and $450. Those have condition issues so make sure if you buy them you do the other SDA tests to make sure you're not getting a big project for yourself and work on getting the price down as well.

The pristine 1Cs in the $400-$450 range sell VERY QUICKLY so do your research to determine which model you want and then jump on them as soon as they are listed.

Be warned, 1Bs use the MW6509 (which is an absolute **** to find replacements for on the used market).

    I'd hold out for 1Cs
