Dang!
Found "The Best of the Moody Blues" remastered and for a good price, so snapped it up & excitedly put it on the cdp for a spin. So many great songs, it's going to be terrific to hear them with a much better recording. Right?
Doh! Wrong! It sounds horrible! I understand that some original recordings are so crumby that they're beyond help, but crapola! Along side of a Mama's & Papa's "remaster," this album sounds like... well, like crap!
Caveat emptor!

Now that's a shame. They are such a good group, too bad they didn't give a damn how their recordings were going to come out.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2
