Those are pretty close to me. It'll be interesting to follow the auction.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Well Jim, not really, but if a pair came up close by I thought I'd grab them and store 'em away for a rainy day. :D

I hear ya, I would do the same. I have only seen 3 pair of any type of SDA's here locally for sale or otherwise ever. I bought the first pair cant remember what they were though didnt like them at all, I remember the tweeters had double magnents though and looked like SL-2000's on the front, they had a passive 12" radiator I believe and if I recall correctly had perhaps 3 drivers on one side and 2 on the other and I think 3 tweeters. They actually cost me $50.00 more than the 1.2 TL's did $650.00. The second pair I still have. The third Nathan snagged em Studio 1C's.

A: Hi, Packing and shipping in 48 states is $275. Thanks

Doesn't seem like a bad price to ship. Hope the magnets would stay put.

The question is who on here bought them. Who lives in New Jersey?
