Logitech Harmony 610 opinions

I was looking at buying this locally used. I have heard of a lot of people with different Harmony remotes but I wondered if anyone here owned one and what they thought of it. We got a new TV for Christmas and since I am going to have to change up the wiring, I need something a little more simple for my wife, parents and inlaws to use if I am not there. If this isn't a good one, any suggestions on other Harmony remotes or other all-in-one remotes I should consider I would appreciate it.

On a similar note, if anyone has a Harmony remote they may want to sell, PM me.

Thanks!
I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius. :D

I have had 3 Harmony remotes and currently own the 880. They are very good remotes for the money. I can't say I have used the 610 but have used the 676 which looks very similar. My wife couldn't live without it with the system.

Occassionally you can get refurbs of the 600 series for 35 bucks on buy.com.

Shawn, Have you had any problems with the 880 battery/ charger?
I was thinking about getting one, mainly for the rechargable battery option, since my 550 kind of burns thru the batteries... thanks

PS: Sorry for the thread dropping :)

Yeah, but it is a very easy fix. They made the battery compartment too wide so over time the battery loses connection with the terminal. All you have to do is wedge and index card between the side of the remote and the battery and problem is solved. They gave me a spacer as well, but the index card has worked for over a year so I left well enough alone. No problems at all otherwise.
