For Sale is a modified Jolida JD100 cdp w/remote and box. I have this on Audiogon for $700, but am offering it for just $620 (+shipping, no paypal surcharge) to fellow Polkers. This one-of-a-kind modification was done by Dan Wright famous for his ModWright designs. I am the second owner of this fantastic-sounding unit. The modifications include SoniCaps, JJ Electric (formerly Tesla) ECC-83 tubes, lead weighting of the highly regarded Phillips CDM12 transport and the attachment of isolation material along the top of the frame. The DAC is a Burr Brown 24/96. The tubes also come with their sleeves.
The JD 100 has some of the fastest spin-up times for information I've ever experienced. The JJ Tubes add both warmth and better detail than the stock tubes. The SoniCaps upgrades the resolution, bringing out out more of the musical detail. The remote is of solid metal, no cheesy plastic to deal with.
I'll ship in it's original double box. Box measurements are: 16x20x8 Shipping weight is: 24lbs. Shipping is from 97223. Please include insurance in the calculation.
I accept PayPal.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
