Boy that is cheap and I thought I got a deal way back when. Now is the time to strike if you'd like a nice set of towers cheap.

Is it true that large floorstanding speakers like the monitor 70 will not work well in say, a small bedroom? I'm setting up a secondary 5.1 HT system in my toddler's playroom, it's about 10'x13' (feet).
    My system:
    Front: 2xPolk RT800 Floor speakers (Bi-wired) - SOLD
Center: Polk CSi5 - For Sale!
    Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR806 THX-Ultra2 130W 7.1
    Sub: Velodyne DPS-12

They might work... but that's not giving them a whole lot of room to breath. I had my Esprits in a 10x12 room, and they sounded like crap. That said, i did have a dresser, bed, nightstand, and normal bedroom stuff in there as well.

    Now that they're in a 13x16 room, it's a huge difference.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.
