Hey guys,
I have a dilemma - I just bought a PSW10 for my condo, but I see the small,er more powerful PSW111 is now on sale where I am.
Which would be better for a small room, where I cant' turn it up too much? Just want some decent, tight base to go with my movies and music (mostly TV usage, really...)
I have a Denon AVR-590 amp, Spherex (Mirage) omni-directional satellites x 5, and the aforementioned PSW10

If you can get it get the psw111 would be much better. Both have a control knob to change how much bass will be produced. Just the psw111 will be able to reproduce more.HT setup

I just purchased a psw 111 and I live in a basement suite. Perfect for turning up when I can make some noise and perfect for turning it down when I need to keep it down. Not the greatest sub on the market but pretty good quality for the price.
I only paid $150 for this baby brand new. -
I like the PSW111 better for music, but that's just my opinion.polkaudio RT35 Bookshelves

the PSW111 is a more controlled sub...whereas the 10 is a bit sloppy and tends to have a lot of port noise at higher volumes.

The 10 does have alot of port noise. I got the psw111 for free when I bought my 2 new cherry rtia9's for 798 total plus tax. Not a bad deal at frys. I didnt even know they were giving me a free sub. Its perfect for apartments.

So far the PSW111 seems to be the winner, maybe you should exchange for it and enjoy the music.Sharp Aqous 40" LCD

Do you still have the Spherex Xbox Satellites?
If yes, would you wanna sell them? -

PSW111. It's a great little subwoofer and perfect for small areas.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Id say neither, id go with a HSU STF-1. I love my polks but have never cared for their subwoofers.

Hi,
I have a pair of RTiA1's bookshelf speakers and a PSW11 and an Onkyo TX8255 50W/ch stereo rcvr.
I have all of them in the about 25' x 12' living room of my townhouse.
I know the sub settings depend on the surroundings and placement, but could you give an optimum initial settings for my sub? I also assume Phase should be at 0?
Thanks.
