And that looks like one of Sony's LCD from 5 years ago, not 2-3 or plasma. That sound system is about as old too. Maybe older. ****!! It looks like some of the geek squad installs I've seen around here because people won't buy longer cables to make it look nicer and they don't maintain wires.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

before making fun of the guy, think a bit. maybe his room does not allow for a true 5.1 setup. maybe speaker cables are not long enough. maybe the speakers were gifted to him from someone special so he doesn't want to sell them though they're crappy. or maybe he knew the setup is crappy so he took a picture and posted on the web for jokes..
no need to call/imply him/her a moron.Onkyo 805, RtiA5s, Csi5, Rti6s -
Maybe he has all of those running into the center channel and has his surrounds where you can't see them?
Still, a bad idea... but it makes more sense...

no i meant "premature." you can look it up on dictionary.com but basically you can't just conclude on the guy's inability to set up the surround speakers unless you have all the information. here we don't.Onkyo 805, RtiA5s, Csi5, Rti6s -

Sony was never really known for their plasmas but there were actually a few that looked like that.
