Why does he have Juan Valdez modeling the amp?

God Bless you, Bob. Still looking very healthy after so many years. No matter what they said abt your flame linear line ( just a joke) :D, you are a genius among others in the history of audio electronics.

Very nice. I still would like the option to put my own power cord on though.

Man those are just beautiful:eek:, I wonder what numbers they will fetch? Bob is truly legendary and his work has always amazed me. Buying these would truly be like buying a piece of history. Did you catch the connection to Julian Hirsch? I started reading his reviews as a very youg teenager and learned much from those days. I wonder if banks make loans on stuff like this!:D

Wow awesome is all I can say! If you haven't, read all the questions and answers on the bottom, you should.
Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else -

I have heard these amps before and they can definitely make a system sing with the utmost of grace and finesse. Bob did good with these. Real good. ;)

They are no where near the sound of your typical Carver amp.

Well, at least you can expect that from these Bob Tubers with Six Gold Lion KT88s! :)

I listened to them At CF 2008 and the had plenty of power. Everyone was in love with them. Tom and Jesse, and George can give a more applicable reviews. 2 years ago is a long time and the Carver Silver 6,7, and 7+ tube amps are still in fresh on my mind from CF 2009.

For some reason, Bob could care less about connections. He has always tuned his gear with Rat Shack power strips with everything plugged in and cheap wire. I don't quite get that, but to each his own I guess.

He even has a pair of Silver Sevens that have the cheap wire.

Kind of like running full go in a Ferrari with go kart tires if you ask me...
