Max room size for satellite speakers?

My family room is 15x20 with 8' ceiling, carpet and upholstered furniture. I have small (non-Polk) bookshelf speakers for mains, a center from the same manufacturer, some no-name surrounds and a BIC H100 sub. 90% of use is TV or movies, rarely used for music.

Was thinking that something like the Polk RM75 or RM85 series would provide a more cohesive sound but I'm wondering if they are too small for my room. Is there a rule of thumb on the max size room for which satellite type speakers are suitable?

I had rm 85's all around with a psw 111 in a 24x14x8 room. They really put out more sound then I expected in the room. I was very pleasantly surprised with there sound after seeing how small they are. If your not listening to much music or are not really critical about the sound, they should be alright for you.
Like any small speaker though they won't have much low end. I think they only go down to 120hz, but like I said for they're size they really do sound good.

I am using the RM 85 in a 20'x24' room with hard wood floors and cathedral ceiling. The speakers sound is very good for Music and excellent for movies. I set the RM8 fronts and center to 100Hz and the rears RM7 to 120Hz. The key is to pick the right size sub. I went with the DSW micro-pro 1000 and I am overall pleased with it, but now that I've had it for some time, the 3000 probably would be a better setup for this size of a room.
