Surround advice

I have recently upgrated by ancient Polk RM6005 HTIB & PSW10 sub with a pair of Monitor 50 front and a CS1 center. Speakers are powered by an Onkyo TX-SR606 receiver (no amp). I am using RM6005 surrounds as side and rear speakers in a 7.1 setup. The setup is in a medium sized room, side and rear speakers are on stands to the sides and behind the couch. While the Monitor 50's and CS1 are worlds better than RM6005 HTIB fronts & center, I would like to upgrade the side surrounds as well. Any suggestions?

get some FXis they will do u great in a medium room, and since surrounds doesn't have to match the fronts u'll be fine.

Thank you, the Fxi A4 series speakers sound great but I can't find a decent deal under $300 a pair... I spent less than $200 for my pair of Monitor 50's, and right now the budget is tight. I found these Emotiva speakers , how do they compare with the Fxi's?

I have been looking for surrounds also and checking these Emos out. My concern is that they are 4 ohms and not sure that my AVR can handle that.
Have you looked at these?

Thank you for the link. Now that I think about it, my AVR can't handle Emos either... and I can't seem to figure how to mount them on speaker stands (these are meant to be wall mounted). Cambridge speakers sound nice and their pricepoint reasonable. Will be looking at their reviews. Question is, are these more suitable as sites or rears (methinks rears)?
