I own emotiva and found this to be insane.
They compared an 8000.00 referance power cable to a 75.00 one by emotiva.
so um yeah, I've had 2 of the interconnects and they caused buzzing in my speakers (analog RCA X series) and I isolated it down to their stupid interconnect, which then returned. Hmm interesting that all the other interconnects I used didn't have this problem such as signal cable, or sidewinders, or other audioquest.
But then they go and compare their 75.00 power chord to an 8000.00 power chord...
hmm...
Kinda two completely different comps but ya know, I guess emo is just that good of a bang for the buck and should be reference against products that cost 8000.00....not.......

Oh nice! Gold plated connectors are at least half the battle!
Rat Shack gold series cables are at LEAST 50% as good as $10,000 a pair cables. AWESOME! That's bang for buck right there, yeaaaaaa boi!I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

That is not what I read. The comparison was between a Legenburg's Zeus speaker cables ("The Legenburgs, which are the size of a garden hose, are $8,000 for a 10 foot pair"), and the Emotiva speaker cable.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

Sorry my bad, regardless, 8000 speaker cables to their 100 some buck ones....yep....same point. You are not even comparing apples to apples its more like compairing apples to fruit cake...ones a nice solid thing the other is all the other crap that no one cared about thrown together to get a big peice of crap.....not the same...
