Knucklehead thought you were talking about "tagging a thread." That got taken away because of abuse.
Quoting.... just click the "quote" button on a post. Then make sure that your reply is AFTER the [/QUOTE]

tony millard wrote: »Now what's the trick to multiple quoting?
Start it just as you always would.
Then on the "Topic Review" underneath the reply that you're currently typing, copy the post that you're wanting to quote in addition. Typemembername wrote:then paste the copied post, and close your tag with the normal [/ quote]
Type your reply. Wash, rinse, repeat as necessary.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

When you reply to a topic NOT using "quick reply" scroll down. You'll be able to see the last 20 posts or whatever in condensed form underneath your reply field.tony millard wrote:I'm going to have to practice that extra quoting in a little while.

Awesome! Like i said, for the money, you can't go wrong. From the weight of these things, it'd cost the same just to buy the bare copper.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

You gotta highlight it first, then right click on the highlighted text. Or just use ctrl-c. Who uses their mouse these days, anyways?
Another way to explain the multi-quote:
Hit the quote button on a post you want to quote.
Then the next part you want to quote, just make sure it matches what was automatically pulled by the quote button, but change the name and text content as necessary. Leave everything else inside the brackets alone.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

If you don't like all that copying and pasting and typing of the [ quote] tags, there's a multiquote button. In every post, you see a ">quote" button, then a smaller button that looks like two squares on top of each other, and then a return arrow. The middle button (the squares) is multi-quote. Click that box on each post you want to quote, and on the last one just click the regular "quote" button, and you'll have multiple quotes.
Confusing the way I explained it but if you play around you'll figure it out.If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

You could hit the quote button and delete all of the unwanted text between the quote codes or you can highlight and copy the sentence(s) paste them into the body of the reply area and click the quote button. It is the fourth button from the right on the lower set of buttons at the top of the message box. -
