Got my new RTi A9's in. Moved my RTi A7 old fronts to surrounds. Moved my FXi A6 old surrounds to rear surrounds. Got my front 3 channels running on an Emo XPA-3. Thanks for all of the advise I received here on Polk forum! I could not be more pleased. The whole set up sounds fantastic.

By the way... The Polk eBay store is fantastic. If these are refurbs, I could not find a trace of it anyplace. Price, service, shipping, packaging, product quality, performance...all absolutely excellent. Thanks Polk!

That my friend is a freaking sick setup! I love the look and I'm jealous as hell you actually have a room to set aside for home theater. From the clean look to the nice seating, congrats! Would love to hear that in action.

Just a thought...I'm a painter and I was wondering if it was an option to paint your ceiling the same color as your walls? I think it would give an even richer look to the room as well as darkening it up a bit more for movies. I noticed there was an opening to the room so this might not be possible if there's no breaking point to stop at. Again, cool room.

Would love to hear your thoughts on stepping up from the A7 to the A9. Worth the upgrade? barely noticeable? prefer the 7s?

Well, at the risk of hacking off a few folks, I think the 9's are a better speaker. The bass and mids are simply stronger. Are they strong enough to justify the cost difference?? Depends on your individual circumstances. Also keep in mind that you may have a shot at running your 7's from your AVR, and the 9's really do need a reasonable amp to make them sing. All I can say is when I added the 9's as fronts, plugged them into a 200WPC amp, and stuck the 7's in as surrounds.... it all added up to a very significant improvement in my system.

Great room, nice system...strange how that SVS can dominate and dwarf a speaker as large as an Rti-A9 though..

It's amazing how big the csi a6 looks in person but next to the A9's and PB plus sub it's small.

I think a CSiA6 that was longer with two more drivers would look awesome or something like the RTiA9 on its side with everything centered of course with one less lower driver would look nice.
