Clear Pyramid Woofers
Anyone have any experience with them? I'd like to use some in a DIY project just for **** and giggles, sound quality aside. I've been thinking of somehow integrating lights that illuminate when a signal is present so it looks like the drivers are lighting up

All this hooked up to a $400 AC3 receiver, none the less.
If they turn out okay I might be able to sell them to him -

I lived in the south during the big car audio boom. At audio conventions these speakers were sold out of a "white van" in the parking lot. The clear woofer is like a fishing lure. My brother bought a pair and they were the worst woofer I have ever heard. Believe it or not they are still selling these 20 years later.
Short and simple - CRAP'OLA - trust me.;)
**A side note**
Pyramid is to car audio - what Bose is to Home audio except Pyramid has to sell there stuff cheap. -
Ok screw it then. I knew Pyramid sucked, BTW. I normally wouldn't consider using a driver in that price range but like I said, just for **** and giggles.
