I've seen 'em all, and this is the one I go back to the most - probably played it 20 times:

Bulletproof Monk

I'm a big fan of Yun-Fat - he's got that oh so elusive "charisma".

Unfortunately, the movie got majorly panned over at Rotten Tomatoes.

As of right now, I vote for Pirates of the Caribbean. As for Bullitproof Monk, I gotta give that a BIG thumbsdown.gif Of course as the year progresses, Return of the King will take the #1 vote followed by Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.

Pirates of the Caribbean gets my vote as well.

I saw Bulletproof Monk last night, it was fairly lame. Fight scenes weren't even that good.

Pirates trailer IS awesome - just a tad corny with the campy comments. Looks like a rip roaring, swash buckling, good time at the movies is just around the corner. I WILL own that on DVD.

Just to be clear - Monk apparently sucks as a movie (I'll rent it on DVD), but the full length trailer is just about perfect for music, pacing, and editing - as good as it gets IMHO.

I haven't seen anything really good yet except the Matrix Reloaded. Anyone got a link to the "Pirates..." one? Thanks. Oh....I loved the XMen2 trailer also.

Don't think there's a trailer yet but Freddy vs. Jason sounds kind of interesting. Any takers?

Pirates of the Caribbean looks interesting, but I wouldn't feel right judging the trailor with a 3" screen and mono sound with no dynamic range and zero bass. Same reason I don't feel right judging a movie based on when I saw it on my grandparents' 13" tv.

I am going to have to see Bruce Almighty twice, the first time to drool over Jennifer Aniston, and then the second time to actually watch the movie.

Terminator 3 v. The Matrix 2: thats my summer matchup. I bet it will be a close call for me to see who is my favorite. Now now, not to start a bunch of crap, I realize that many people clearly think the Matrix will be better. I really love the Terminator though. Anyways, this is going to be a great Summer for movies.

I think X-Men 2 will surprise everyone and give Matrix 2 a run for it's money. Actually, I haven't heard a single shred of advance buzz about Matrix 2. I'm hearing nothing but stellar reviews for X-Men 2. Apparently Bryan Singer got a big boost in the budget for this one and it seems he took full advantage.

T-3...this one is border line! Could be just a huge waste of explosions on screen. I seriously hope not. I want tons of killer movies so I can waste time at the theaters eating popcorn!

(in a homer simpson voice) mmmmm....popcorn...ahhhhhhh!

Shame on you John, there is no such thing as a wasted explosion!

I will agree, T3 looks iffy. I'll wait and buy the DVD for this one. As for X2, I'll wait and buy the DVD as well. The first was OK, the second looks about the same.

I bet Return of the King and The Matrix will be the two that eat up box office popcorn this year.

Good use of explosions = T2

Waste of explosions = Battlefield Earth

    mmmm...popcorn!

By the way, Matrix Reloaded will be playing at the glorious Senator Theater here in Baltimore. DAMN, this is going to ROCK!!!
    No excuses!
