Is this game as good as it looks from the videos that i've seen online?

I LOVED UT Classic, wasn't a fan of UT2003, and UT2004 was amazing.

I've seen people complain that it doesn't seem quite as fast paced hectic coke-rush as UT classic was, and that the Gears of War -esque graphics don't really capture the same feel, but the videos look so good.

Any input? This will probably be the deciding factor of whether or not i go whole hog on my gaming PC build.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

It's not as good as OG UT. One of my favorite games of all time by a long shot.

It's not exactly a benchmark setter for PC, so you don't need to go all out with building a gaming system for just this game.

Awesome, that's what i was looking for. Guess i'll just stick with my $500 budget and if it happens to be able to run it well, then great. If not, then i'll continue to play UT Classic.

    Thanks man. :)

It's pretty good, but the Original UT will always be my favorite in that series unless something really crazy happens with a new release.

Man I had some good times playing the original UT, gonna have to dial up a couple friends tonight and see if they're up for some vintage gaming :D

Agreed with the above comments. Its good, but not what it used to be. Or in a way, its exactly what it used to be. It hasn't changed much. I could do without the node matches and vehicles. I have it for PC and 360.

Its good, and on paper looks better than UT2004 (my favorite by far).

Its basically the same as UT2004 with no real improvements though (barring a single player campaign which is passable) although it is much darker in tone, which I think does it a disservice. It is fun UT action though. I enjoy it.
