    They are, I just posted it on the way out the door.....they have the foam rings on the tweeters ala SL3000's and there aint no 4 extra screws on the crossover plate...I emailed the guy for a better pic. :D

    He shot me another email this morning that he sold them this morning, so hopefully it was a polkie. Nothing looked poked or torn on those whatsoever, just a little garage dirt was about it.

    We should have like a local forum member hotline, someone triggers it and pagers/cell phones in that area all go off with a simple message check the forum immediate polk deal alert. :D

    I saw that pair pop up 5 minutes after they did, was first to email...but I couldnt shoehorn those in my house if I wanted to...even just to store them...the one empty spare bedroom is stuffed with gear/subs/polks and I even have a pair of SRS's in my wifes office...how I managed that I still dont know ;) There is even a nice looking pair of monitor 10's here on craigslist for 40 bucks now too...people want quick Christmas cash.....

    Totally agree. If a buyer can get a great price from a selling who wants that price; win-win. Just because you didn't get them at that price doesn't make them a disgrace.

    That would be a great idea. It sucks because these things are really rare for me to ever see around my area. I think I've seen maybe 3-4 older polks but nothing like this. man oh man.

    I just heard from the guy with the 2b's and he sounds pretty nice. We are going to work out the shipping to Indiana, and if we are unable to reach a deal, I will help facilitate a deal for someone else here on the forum... wish me luck!

    About time some regular forum members jump on these obscenely cheap polks, usually I post them and and hear the violin playing 1 or 2 days later crying they missed the awesome deal.

    In the last 2 years I have absorbed as many uber cheap SDA's as the sponge would hold, and hate to see these deals go to gougers...these 2b's look really really good..maybe Ron Temple could get you a good deal on freighting those John ?



    If that doesnt pan out , they are 95 miles from me one way...if we could get a polk handoff going from somebody north of san jose I could pick them up from there and have them for Locke in Gilroy...saving him 4 hours driving time ( up/back from Gilroy to Lafayette ). The drive from Southern Ca to Gilroy isnt bad....dont like shipping these things :(
