hiya all
im thinkin abot gettin 2 GNX124 [1 GNX124 for now]wit boss C700 amp? will the amp be good for them ..thx for the replies

    well... what is the rating of the amp ....

    bridged at 4 ohms rms??...
    bridged at 2 ohms rms (is it even stable at this impedance??)

    stereo 4 ohms rms ??
    stereo 2 ohms rms ??

    well.. according to those specs.. it'll work...

    i mean i'm no fan of boss so i cant attest to teh quality of its "woking -ness" but it'll work.

    200 x 2 at 4 wRMS -- so you can put a 4 ohm sub on each channel and you're doing just a hair above the sub's rms rating... which is fine.

    or.. bridge the sucker down to 600 x 1 or whatever it does bridged at 4.... series the subs up to 8 ohms and u'll get that same 200 watts per sub but in mono instead of stereo. (whatever an amp does at 4 ohm stereo.. it'll do double that at 8 ohm bridged... usually 3 times to 4 times that at 2 ohms bridged).
