They're great for pro audio, not for hi-fi."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

I'm sorry I don't really understand the difference. Better question is will it out preform a YAMAHA RX-V463 when playing stereo music powering Monitor 60s.Monitor 60s, CS10 front

Pro gear like that allows for much higher distortion levels than you want in a home setting, and are more about getting LOUD, than audiophile accurate reproduction.
I would say, no. It wouldn't outperform your Yamaha.
For $300, look on the used market for a nice Adcom, Carver, NAD, etc...I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

I have an EP-1500 that I use for 90hz and down. It is nice and tight with the subs I have tried with it."Make a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Light
a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." -
Pro amps = loud, but subpar sound quality. Clear enough?Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

X 2
I'll only use the Behringer pro amp for subs. It's way cheaper then 4 good plate amps and seems to do a nice job for bass.
I suppose 1400 watts for bass is loud thou..."Make a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Light
a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life."
