HI all...
I visited Van last night (Vlam). He did a most gracious thing for me. For those not following, I wanted to buy a pair of SDA's, and was saving up the cash. He offered to pick them up (Over an hour drive one way), pay for them, and hold them for me upon payment. I picked them up last night - got to see his first hobby...raising discus (I'm a fish fanatic as well). He opened up his lovely home to me, and was very kind throughout the process. The best of Karma sent to Vlam!
I had a family emergency last night, so as soon as I got the speakers in the house, I had to leave. I am away for a few days, but will post pictures when I return home.

James,
It was a pleasure to meet you last night and thanks for the kind words. There are plenty of nice folks around here as I have learned over a past few years. I don't consider what I did that special. I was just doing what I could to help someone who shares similiar interests. I don't post much here because to be honest, the polk forum isn't my primary site. I am usually over the fish forum.
Enjoy your newly acquired SDA. Oh.. and speaking of the karma, you don't have to pay for that Bell'o speaker/tv stand that you picked up yesterday. Merry Christmas
Do keep in touch.

You have no idea how often I hear this from my wife. There are nights that I actually fall asleep on the couch in the basement after changing a few hundred gallons of water. She used to yell when I come home with large speakers, I know sneak large tanks into the basement. Someday, I'll have the best of both world and do a setup downstair as well.Main Gear
