Up for sale is my Parasound Halo P3 preamplifier. It has been lightly used in a smoke free, pet free, child free environment. Original remote, manual, box, in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. Selling because I am moving into home theater, will no longer need a dedicated preamp.
Asking $525 or best offer. Accept money order, personal check, or paypal. Please PM me if you are interested.
Will upload actual pictures in the next couple of days.

"My listening experience with the P3 began auspiciously. I put it in my system with the Theta Dreadnaught power amps and the Vandersteen 3A Signature / 2Wq speaker system I use as a reference. I had intended to listen for just a minute or two before letting the components warm up together. I was still in my listening chair 45 minutes later. Damn if it didn't sound like music!"
"The P3 delivered a respectably deep and wide soundstage that placed instruments beyond the speaker boundaries. Images had good focus laterally - you could tell where the players in the band were located in space."
"So, is the P3 a reference quality preamp in absolute terms? No. It doesn’t have the dynamics, resolution, midrange magic, spatial dimension, and precision of the BAT VK-50SE tube preamp ($8,000). But for one-tenth the price, it might well represent a reference for products in its price range (and perhaps even a few clicks above that)."
"You'll have to spend more money to get better performance, in many cases a lot more. This Halo P3 / A23 combo is the kind of system that should be celebrated as an invitation to participate in high-end audio as a hobby. And it continues Parasound's tradition of giving people more performance for the money than they have any right to expect."
