Opinions on McIntosh MA6500?

I am thinking of moving from a Krell KAV300iL (400xi twin) to a Mac MA6500.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. BTW, my speakers are Dynaudio Contour 1.3 SEs. Sorry Polk owners but these kick serious butt!

    When dealing with the gear you have, I think it would be a major mistake to buy something without listening first, unless you're a complete gear head and are comfortable with swapping out used components. The two amplifiers in question are completely different. The MAC will sound 'rounder and softer' while the Krell will have better bass definition. If you can't listen and aren't prepared to buy and sell gear often then I'd stay with what you have. The fact you've posted on a forum leads me to believe you'll buy on what people say so I would keep the Krell...
