Ibought this sub about a month ago and it works well. I do not have lfe working b/c my reciever isnt that great. The sub itself works fine but when i listen to my metal music i cant seam to hear the double bass very well. Idk maybe im just going deaf b/c this sub rattles my 2 story house.
any thoughts?

    You might want to have your hearing checked if you can feel the rumble but can't hear it.

    Check the crossover on your sub, you may need to turn it a little higher to hear the bass drums. Try moving your sub around in the room too, its amazing how the placement and the XO can affect the sound.

    thanks guys i moved the sub in the opposite corner and that seemed to help some but it is prob b/c im going deaf :)

    The 505 might not be quick enough to catch blast beats, as well, just causing a continues rumble rather than percussive pitches.
    I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.
