PSW10 @$75 vs. PSW110 @ $135

This is sort of an odd question. WAF was low and my wife finally convinced me to sell the R50's and get smaller speakers. I picked up a set of Energy Take Classics at Newegg last week for $130. Then I went to Best Buy Sunday and bought a PSW110 for $135 after tax. I really haven't had time this week to test out the sub.

Newegg ran a promo this week of the Take Classics and Polk PSW10 for $200. I asked if I can get the combo and they offered me a $25 discount off the PSW10...so I can get the sub shipped for $75 or basically $5 more then the combo.

I know the PSW110 is more watts...but I am trying to keep costs down since I would like to upgrade the receiver soon.

So it is worth the extra $60 to keep the PSW110 instead of just getting the PSW10? Keep in mind the energy speakers are small. I'm happy with either deal...just what is the better "bang for your buck"? It's a medium sized room, I'm not a bass head, and we listen to probably 50-50 music and TV/Movies.

Thanks

Both are at about the same level of performance....if you want to save money, go with the new deal. You won't be kicking yourself over it and you have $60 to shop for a better AVR. I'd get the main piece of electronics worked out and then worry about the little stuff.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Thanks dorokusi. I had played music on the psw110 during the week but finally got the chance to listen to it last night with a movie. It sounds good to me...especially for what I paid. ( I am by no stretch of the imagination an audiophile.) $60 is not much to have to go to Best Buy, stand in line and return something this time of year :)

Now onto upgrading the receiver...but I am waiting on that until after Christmas.

    xcapri79- That's a good idea...

Thanks for the welcome.. I joined several years ago and finally posted. Once the brackets come in and I get the speakers mounted, I'll post a few pictures. It's not too great of a setup...but it'll have to do until the kid is out of college :)
